Summary
🤩
RockstarNick Puchko is a Senior Software Engineer based in Austin with 11+ years building high‑performance web systems, APIs, WebSockets, and microservices across PHP, Go, and JavaScript. He has deep experience in both backend and full‑stack roles, shipping scalable eCommerce and high‑load solutions, containerized deployments, and custom orchestration and automation tooling. Nick has led and mentored teams, designed integrations and estimations as a tech lead, and implemented mission‑critical payment and import pipelines that processed millions of rows efficiently. Comfortable across databases, Elasticsearch, NGINX/Varnish, and message brokers, he also builds practical developer tooling—Chrome extensions, chatbots, and CI/CD utilities—that accelerate operations. Now at Meta after recent senior roles at Adobe and others, he pairs hands‑on coding with pragmatic system design and a knack for squeezing performance out of real‑world platforms.
