Summary
š¤
SeniorNick Spencer is a software engineer with nine years of hands-on experience and a BS in Computer Science who blends AI/ML technical depth with product management instincts. He has led end-to-end development of accessibility-focused products, including an AI-powered translation prototype that improved speech intelligibility for users with dysarthria by 30% using fine-tuned foundation models and personalized RAG pipelines. Comfortable shipping production systems on AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker) and running cross-functional programs, he has driven migrations, standardized workflows, and aligned engineering, design, and client teams to reduce friction. Nick pairs metric-driven decision making and user-centered research with practical business operations experience from roles supporting legal and finance processes. Based in Lower Merion Township, he brings a rare mix of technical execution and product leadership ambition, actively preparing to transition into product management while still contributing as an engineer. He often surfaces non-obvious value by translating accessibility research into measurable product improvements that serve underserved users.
