Senior🎓
Top SchoolNick Steele is a seasoned technology leader with 11 years of experience building and shepherding platform-scale products, currently serving as VP of Research and Development at Loyalty Methods. He has led engineering and R&D teams through multiple stages—from CTO at Source Digital to founding and advising startups via Transactive.io—specializing in content recognition, monetization, and customer loyalty features. Comfortable at the intersection of product, law, and ethics (Rutgers Law coursework) he blends technical architecture expertise with a policy-minded perspective on automation and advertising. Nick has a track record of adopting cutting-edge architectures early, championing stateless services, Node.js, WebSockets and modern front-end migrations years before they were mainstream. He mentors teams, teaches, and volunteers, and brings an unconventional touch—using comedy and clear communication—to inspire ambitious goals. Based in Philadelphia, he pairs entrepreneurial grit with practical delivery across healthcare, legal, education, and media products.
