Top SchoolNick Thomas is a freelance independent web developer with 11 years of experience building front-end systems and TypeScript modules from scratch, often focusing on privacy-minded features like end-to-end encryption using the Web Crypto API. Based in Washington, D.C., he has contributed to emerging platforms and decentralized projects—from a P2P JavaScript runtime at Socket Supply to a web3-backed blog for Fission—and has a track record of shipping static site generators, web components, and custom content systems. Comfortable across the stack, Nick pairs pragmatic engineering with attention to performance and visual design, a skill honed at small studios and consulting roles. He favors lightweight, bespoke solutions over off-the-shelf frameworks and frequently authorizes tooling and utilities that simplify front-end builds.
