Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolNick Tucker is a data engineer with nine years of hands-on experience building ETL pipelines, middleware, and analytics systems using Python, Groovy, Java, Spark, and AWS. He has implemented production data workflows—from PySpark ingestion and Redshift/Hive processing to Oracle Fusion integrations and REST/SOAP-based inventory management—bridging technical implementation with cross-team communication. Comfortable across web frameworks (Django, Flask) and data stacks (pandas, numpy), he pairs scripting and automation with pragmatic data quality checks and regression testing. Based in Upstate New York, he’s equally at home mentoring new engineers and improving legacy scripts for efficiency, and his background in philosophy suggests a thoughtful, systems-oriented approach to problem solving.
