Summary
👤
SeniorNick Velasquez is a hardware-focused entrepreneur and CEO with 11 years building IoT products from concept to production, blending electrical engineering depth with hands-on PCB, firmware and embedded Linux expertise. As co-founder and leader of multiple startups including DeepSea Developments, Agrum Visor and AR-Smart, he steers product strategy while retaining the maker’s mindset of prototyping and iterative learning—tempered by an awareness that hardware failures are costly. Based in Mountain View, he couples a Master’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with data science and startup training, enabling pragmatic decisions across hardware, firmware and product analytics. Less obvious: he moves fluidly between soldering small batches and leading company strategy, which helps accelerate validated learning in physical-product ventures.
