Top SchoolNiclas Johansen is a pragmatic CTO and partner with 8 years of hands-on experience leading engineering, product and backend teams at Morningtrain and its parent group, Mornings ApS. He combines strategic technology leadership—setting OKRs, product-market fit improvements and BI consolidation—with day-to-day ownership of DevOps, automated testing and developer experience. Niclas has scaled teams from WordPress shops to unified backend departments, introduced agile practices and refactoring standards, and built internal tooling for project tracking and decision support. He mentors tech leads and product managers, driving measurable gains in client satisfaction and profitability. Based between Denmark and Chile, he brings a blend of agency-born versatility and formal software engineering training (MSc/BSc), favoring fast feedback loops and data-informed roadmaps that few CTOs in agency settings prioritize.
