Senior🎓
Top SchoolNicolae Matei is a seasoned web developer, trainer, and technical lead with 13 years of experience building and teaching web and automation solutions from Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He combines hands-on full-stack skills—JavaScript/React/ExtJS, Java/Groovy, PHP, and relational databases (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL)—with deep expertise in web automation using Selenium, Cucumber and his open-source Testy framework. As a long-time trainer at FastTrackIT and RWS he designs and delivers practical courses in responsive web design and test automation, and serves as a reviewer and Scrum master on enterprise SaaS localization and translation tooling. His background as an assistant lecturer in algorithms and systems and as a former debate league member gives him a rare blend of technical rigor and persuasive communication in coaching teams. Oracle-certified in Java SE 6 and experienced as a team lead and database administrator, he is equally comfortable architecting back-ends, mentoring engineers, and automating quality across the delivery pipeline.
