Top SchoolNicolai Jensen is an R&D Engineer based in Copenhagen with 10 years of hands-on experience blending mechanical design, product development, and practical fabrication. He combines a formal mechanical engineering background from DTU with early trade training as a blacksmith and metalworker, giving him uncommon fluency across concept sketches, CAD, FEM analysis and shop-floor reality. At Novo Nordisk he focuses on maturing mechanical concepts into reliable products, drawing on prior roles in medical device concept development and CNC operation. Nicolai’s hobby motorsports experience informs a pragmatic, performance-minded approach to tolerances, mechanisms and rapid prototyping. He also bridges into DevOps practices on GitHub, signaling an interest in reproducible engineering workflows beyond pure hardware. Colleagues rely on him to translate analytical models into manufacturable designs that survive real-world use.
