Top SchoolNicolas Bretécher is a Lead Developer based in Paris with about four years of full‑stack experience in a startup studio environment, designing features end-to-end from data architecture to UI while keeping product and users central. He combines delivery and team leadership with hands-on modernization, security hardening, and integration improvements, notably on platforms for public service and language learning. Comfortable switching between developer, project lead, and PO-collaborator roles, he prioritizes early technical proposals, continuous communication, and testing/monitoring to reduce long-term maintenance pain. His background in communication and political science informs a pragmatic, context-aware approach to requirements and stakeholder management. Colleagues value that he avoids solo work: he obsessively surfaces trade-offs early and learns rapidly to turn ambiguous needs into clear, testable solutions.
