Senior🎓
Top SchoolNicolas Dufour is a Senior Staff SRE with nearly two decades of hands-on experience designing and operating resilient infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. He blends deep Linux and systems roots with extensive AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps practice, having led migrations, cluster builds, and IaC at companies from Time Inc. to Sectigo and Nav Technologies. Nicolas pairs platform engineering with application-facing work—deploying Certificate Transparency services and building repeatable lift-and-shift automation—so he thinks in both operational reliability and developer productivity. He also brings a unique geoscience background (geophysics/geochemistry) that informs a curiosity-driven approach to complex systems and occasional side projects in “weird physics” areas. Based in New Jersey, he’s comfortable in tight teams or as a technical lead, consistently turning legacy setups into automated, observable platforms. Colleagues describe him as a creative problem-solver who favors pragmatic, testable solutions over theoretical perfection.
