Top SchoolNicolas Dufresne is a multidisciplinary director, educator, and producer with over 15 years in animation and 11 years of formal industry experience combining creative direction, technical pipeline work, and teaching. He co-founded Rainbox and led technical and artistic direction while serving long-term as CTO at Rx Laboratory, demonstrating rare fluency between production management, Python-based pipelines and hands-on animation. As a prolific teacher across top French schools (Rubika, Gobelins, ESAAT, e-artsup) he trains students in Maya, After Effects, rigging and production tools, bridging industry practice and pedagogy. Since 2024 he has expanded into podcast creation as auteur and producer of "La fourmi dans la coquille," showing a knack for storytelling beyond visual media. Based in Savoie, France, he blends craftsmanship in film direction and animation with engineering-minded pipeline solutions—a profile that often yields technically elegant, narratively driven projects. An understated thread throughout his work is a developer’s mindset: he builds tools and workflows to make creative teams more productive.
