Summary
👤
SeniorNicolás Forero is a Senior Frontend Software Engineer based in Bogotá with 11 years of experience building production web and mobile products across healthcare, robotics, and proptech. He specializes in React/TypeScript and Next.js frontends, but pairs that with full-stack skills—designing clean architectures, Postgres schemas, and Dockerized Flask APIs—to deliver end-to-end solutions. At MyEngene he led a from-scratch platform that matches patient genomes to drug interactions, blending domain complexity with pragmatic engineering. His background includes improving real-time video and robot telemetry at Kiwibot and lifting user engagement through design-driven features at Houm and Higo. A former CTO/co-founder at 1DOC3 and Holberton-trained fullstack developer, he brings startup grit, mentoring experience, and a knack for turning research insights into intuitive UX. Colleagues describe him as a pragmatic architect who moves quickly from prototypes to reliable, production-ready systems.
