Senior🎓
Top SchoolNicolas Gerard is an independent senior data analytics consultant with 16 years of hands-on experience designing data architectures, managing integrations, and guiding analytics projects for enterprise clients. He combines deep technical skills across databases (Oracle, SAP HANA, Hive), ETL and Hadoop ecosystems, and development (Java, Python, PL/SQL) with pragmatic project and vendor management honed in consultancy and IT leadership roles. As founder of Bytle Analytics he advises on long-term data strategy, audits third-party providers, and trains teams on modern big data technologies while remaining very much practitioner-focused. Former roles range from senior data engineering to ERP and IT management, giving him rare end-to-end visibility from infrastructure and ETL to reporting and business process improvement. Bilingual French-in-the-Netherlands background and a persistent entrepreneurial streak make him comfortable translating technical tradeoffs into business value across cultures. Outside work he’s an avid traveler and lifelong learner, balancing consultancy with family life as a father of two.
