Top SchoolNicolas Gilbert is a seasoned front-end technical coach with 14 years of experience, currently leading React platform development at iA Financial Group from Guelph, Ontario. He designs and maintains a company-wide React platform of 200+ reusable components, developer tooling, Docker images and Azure pipelines while setting front-end standards and supporting roughly 50 developers across many projects. Nicolas blends hands-on implementation with coaching—running trainings, incident response, and close collaboration with UI/UX to build accessible, modern design systems. His prior roles include leading front-end platforms and SPA migrations using Angular, Ember and Backbone for organizations like Vend, Westpac and NZ Police, showing a strong track record in component-oriented architecture and CI adoption.
