Senior🎓
Top SchoolNicolas Grasset is a seasoned product and engineering leader with 14+ years building consumer and logistics platforms from seed to scale. He co-founded Peel Insights to democratize BI with ML-powered automation and previously scaled MakeSpace’s product and engineering organization from 15 to 300+ employees while delivering a complex reverse-logistics platform. Comfortable hands-on in Python, AWS, and data-heavy systems, he has repeatedly rebuilt and modernized stacks (e.g., migrating mobile/web products to Python and autoscaled AWS deployments). Now directing product at Shopify, he blends entrepreneurial grit with large-company product discipline and cross-functional collaboration. He’s equally at home designing user-centric workflows that reduce training needs as he is architecting backend systems for routing, dispatching, and asset tracking. Having worked across countries and startup stages, he brings a pragmatic, data-driven approach to turning messy operational problems into scalable product solutions.
