Top SchoolNicolas Herment is an engineering manager and seasoned software architect with 14+ years building enterprise SaaS and B2B cloud applications, recently leading AI-infused projects including user-facing LLM chatbots and an AI migration accelerator. He progressed from C/C++ EDA tooling to Java/Flex in Silicon Valley and embraced Node.js early, honing an ability to design high-performance backend systems and scalable cloud architectures. Nicolas has led engineering teams and deliveries across startups and consultancies—driving productization at Portchain, stabilizing real-time infrastructure at Zendesk, and founding a CI SaaS for Node.js that tackled automated scaling and untrusted code execution. Based in Malmö, he blends hands-on technical depth with delivery leadership and a knack for squeezing large performance gains from legacy systems, plus practical experience in operationalizing ML/AI features.
