Top SchoolNicolás Huenulef is a senior software engineer and educator based in Santiago with a decade of experience building cloud-native systems, SRE tooling, and IoT solutions. He balances hands-on engineering roles—most recently at Zesty—with sustained academic engagement as an adjunct professor teaching software architecture and cloud computing at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. A serial maker and cofounder of multiple ventures (Cocreaciones, Elunet, Dynaptics Labs), he brings entrepreneurial instincts to product-focused engineering and architecture decisions. Nicolás frequently bridges theory and practice by embedding real cloud platforms into coursework and championing maker-driven research within university ecosystems. Outside work he’s an IoT adept and lifelong tinkerer—an inclination that shows up in both hardware projects and pragmatic system designs.
