Senior🎓
Top SchoolNicolas Martignole is a Principal Engineer based in Paris with 15 years of hands-on and leadership experience building scalable, high-traffic platforms for healthcare and consumer marketplaces. He has driven architecture, performance and incident response at Doctolib—helping handle tens of millions of users during national vaccination efforts—and now shapes platform strategy at Back Market. Founder and organizer of Devoxx France, he combines deep engineering craft (notably Scala, distributed systems and observability migrations) with community-building that scaled the conference to thousands of daily attendees and a 34k+ YouTube audience. A former CTO and CEO who grew a French consultancy into a multimillion-euro operation, he pairs technical mentorship and system design with pragmatic delivery under pressure. Not obvious at first glance: he frequently steps into crisis roles and has led large observability and SMS/platform rearchitectures that improved resilience across hundreds of engineers.
