Top SchoolNicolas Neubauer is a data-focused technology leader with 11 years of experience building and scaling data-driven products across enterprises and startups in Germany and internationally. Currently Director Shopping Experience at Kaufland e-commerce, he combines hands-on expertise in distributed data management, NLP and big-data analytics with a practical emphasis on sustainability, maintainability and clear abstraction. He has a strong consulting background from PwC and codecentric, regularly translating complex domain knowledge into product-ready architectures and measurable business value. A PhD in computer science underpins his analytical approach, and he champions holistic delivery practices—Agile, DevOps and continuous delivery—to prevent unnecessary complexity rather than simply solve it. Notably, he moves fluidly between leading engineering and data science teams and staying engaged with the technical details that make scalable systems reliable.
