Top SchoolNicolas Panel is an engineer-turned-founder and CEO based in Paris with 13 years of experience building full-stack products, leading development teams, and launching startups focused on applied AI. He founded Callity in 2019 to solve a practical gap in French-language speech transcription and customer conversation analytics, combining three years of R&D into a platform that turns voice, chat and email into actionable data for contact centers. His background spans consulting, project management and hands-on development (Django, Angular, data-science pipelines), and he continues to supervise both engineering and business development. An early maker, he also contributed quality-focused improvements to the open-source numjs project—adding math ops, tests and removing unnecessary dependencies—reflecting his emphasis on robust, efficient code. Practical, product-driven and technically fluent, he thrives on turning complex problems into elegant, usable solutions.
