Top SchoolNicolás Parada is a Platform Engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience building backend-first, cloud-native systems and full-stack products. Fluent in Go, he has designed and shipped platform APIs, service daemons, integrations, and CLIs across companies like Netdata, Calyptia, Chronosphere, and current roles at Garnet and FluentDo. He specializes in productionizing distributed services—eBPF runtime agents, microservices with CockroachDB/MongoDB, and evented pipelines—while also contributing to front-end and UX through React-based management consoles. Based in Los Ángeles, Chile, Nicolás is self-taught and known for turning low-level systems work into reliable platform abstractions that empower observability and runtime tooling. A somewhat atypical strength is his comfort moving between kernel-adjacent tech (eBPF) and user-space delivery, making him effective at bridging operations and developer experience.
