Top SchoolNicolò Carandini is a seasoned Senior Developer and owner of TPCWare with over 30 years of experience designing and building software across Apple and Windows platforms. His career began in the early 1980s consulting for Apple Italia on legacy networking projects for institutions like the University of Rome and SIP, and has since spanned enterprise clients such as INPS, Finmeccanica and STET. He is fluent in a wide range of languages and paradigms—from Z80 assembler, BASIC and Pascal on the Apple II, through Clipper and Delphi, to modern C#, XAML and Xamarin for cross-platform mobile and UWP apps. Lately he has focused on backend REST APIs with ASP.NET (Full and Core), Swagger-documented services on Azure, and integration-heavy projects linking CAD workflows (SketchUp) with Ruby, JavaScript and C#. Known for bridging legacy systems and modern cloud-native architectures, he combines deep historical knowledge of platforms with current full-stack Microsoft expertise. Based in Rome, he brings a pragmatic, hands-on approach to delivering interoperable, long-lived software solutions.
