Senior🎓
Top SchoolNidal Shater is a Senior DevOps Engineer based in Dubai with roughly a decade-long career focused on infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and cloud architecture across AWS and Azure. He has led large-scale migrations to Terraform, cut multi-million-dollar cloud spend through rightsizing and EKS/ECS strategies, and improved reliability for platforms serving hundreds of millions of daily requests. Comfortable across the stack, Nidal standardizes developer workflows, embeds SAST/DAST into pipelines, and builds full‑stack observability to reduce RTO/RPO and speed incident response. He pairs hands-on systems engineering with a background in backend development and teaching, which helps him translate complex infrastructure problems into clear, team-aligned solutions. Notably, he has a track record of both cloud-to-cloud migrations and multi-region geo-replication that delivered dramatic latency and cost improvements.
