Top SchoolNiels De Water is a Full Stack Developer with a decade of experience bridging biotechnology and software, currently building products at The.NextGen while running his own studio, StellarValley. Trained as a molecular biologist, he leverages deep domain knowledge from ten years at GenomeScan—where he combined NGS lab work, primary data analysis, LIMS implementation, and scripting—to design reliable pipelines and tools for scientific workflows. Proficient in Python, PHP, C++, JavaScript, Django and Vue, he moves comfortably across front-end interfaces and back-end systems to deliver pragmatic, reproducible solutions. His background in both hands-on bench science and production engineering gives him a knack for turning complex experimental requirements into maintainable software.
