Top SchoolNiels Engelen is a Senior Product Manager based in Maasmechelen, Belgium, with over a decade of hands-on experience shaping enterprise cloud, backup, and infrastructure products. At Veeam Software he has progressed from pre-sales and systems engineering to global technologist and now leads cloud product strategy for AWS, Azure, and GCP—most notably Veeam Backup for AWS—translating customer needs into product features and cross-R&D delivery. He blends technical depth from earlier sysadmin and cloud-engineering roles with strong go-to-market and content skills, having produced technical collateral, demos, and community enablement. Colleagues rely on him to navigate complex partner and analyst relationships while keeping engineering focused on real-world customer value. A longtime blogger, he also quietly documents practical operational learnings that inform his product decisions.
