Senior🎓
Top SchoolNiels Van Och is a seasoned software engineer with 14 years of experience, currently focused on backend development at Mobile Vikings after an early career progression from frontend work to technical lead roles. He combines a methodical, structured coding style with a habit of gaining broad organizational perspective—seeking to prevent his code from becoming legacy while improving processes, communication, and workflows. Comfortable across the stack, he has hands-on experience in PHP-based CMS architecture, operations, and peer reviews, and has moved between development and ops roles to bridge gaps between teams. Based in Zonhoven, Belgium, he pairs a Master’s in Computer Science with practical leadership in team- and project-level architecture, often stepping into analysis and process optimization beyond pure coding.
