Top SchoolNigel Ainscoe is a Data Engineering Lead with nine years of focused experience building data platforms and teams across fintech, mortgage tech, and analytics consultancies in the UK. He combines hands-on engineering—SQL, Python, Go, Kubernetes—and cloud expertise on Azure and GCP with a track record of introducing CI/CD and modern dev practices to legacy BI environments. Nigel has led data efforts at Banked and Koodoo, run his own analytics consultancy, and repeatedly turned SSIS/SQL Server estates into more maintainable, automated pipelines. Known for mentoring engineers and shifting organisations toward project-based SSDT/DevOps workflows, he blends entrepreneurial instincts with enterprise-grade delivery. An early adopter of containerised microservices and cloud-native patterns, he brings both practical implementation skills and the ability to scale teams and systems.
