Summary
👤
SeniorNigel Alford is a Senior Software Engineer and technical leader with 11 years of experience delivering full‑stack web and mobile products, currently driving execution at LabFinder after leadership roles at TOCA Football and Wahoo Fitness. He blends hands‑on engineering (React, TypeScript, GraphQL, React Native) with product strategy and OKR-driven delivery, repeatedly converting stakeholder requirements into measurable business impact. Nigel has launched consumer apps, led offshore teams, and moved legacy stacks to modern frameworks, often building internal design and testing workflows (Storybook, Postman, Sentry) to speed reviews and improve reliability. As a former CTO/co‑founder and Head of Engineering he pairs entrepreneurial instincts with disciplined project management and user-centered product discovery. Based in Marietta, GA, he’s also active in the blockchain space (Tezos smart contracts), meetup speaking, and podcasting—bringing a mix of public-facing communication and deep execution skill that’s not obvious from titles alone.
