👤
SeniorNigel Kukard is a seasoned technology leader and CTO with 19 years' experience designing Linux-based server and network architectures for ISPs and large enterprises. He conceives and implements low-to-mid-end routers, traffic shapers, virtualization platforms and threat analysis pipelines, combining deep protocol and OS-level expertise with hands-on backend development in Python and C. As founder/leader of multiple companies (AllWorldIT, Conarx, Linux Based Systems Design) and a long-time volunteer at SORBS, he blends product delivery, consultancy and community-driven security work. Nigel’s toolchain spans QEMU/KVM, nftables, FRR/Bird, database clustering, Redis, and self-hosted GitLab/Docker deployments, reflecting a focus on resilient, self-managed infrastructure. Beyond operations, he actively profiles emerging internet threats and supplies feed data, bringing practical threat intelligence into network designs. Based in Cape Town, he pairs decades of low-level systems craft with entrepreneurial leadership and a preference for Python-led development.
