Top SchoolNik Brendler is a Staff Software Engineer in Seattle with 14 years of experience building full‑stack web applications, from intuitive front ends to resilient backend services and data pipelines. He’s delivered impactful systems across startups and large firms—helping found Milio’s B2B HR analytics platform, modernizing legacy apps with React and Go, and shaping data tooling at Amazon for AWS finance. Nik combines hands‑on engineering with product sensitivity, often owning ETL, taxonomy, and UI design to turn disparate data into actionable insights. Comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives, he has a track record of shipping prototypes that surface new revenue opportunities and of modernizing complex, browser‑heavy apps. Uncommonly for a staff engineer, he blends deep mathematical training with practical product work, making him adept at both modeling data and shipping customer-facing features.
