Senior🎓
Top SchoolNikita Pestrov is an AI and data platform leader with 13 years of experience building cloud-native, scalable data products and pipelines for clients including Mastercard, the World Bank, and PwC. Based in Austin, he specializes in bringing AI/ML and voice-enabled capabilities to frontline workers, translating research-grade methods into production SaaS and location-intelligence products. He has led teams that manage tens of terabytes on GCP using orchestration tools like Dagster and dbt, and co-developed the Inclusive Growth Score for Mastercard. Nikita combines academic rigor—master’s work at Skoltech and research collaborations with MIT Media Lab and urban-policy consortia—with hands-on startup experience as a former iOS lead and co-founder. A frequent mentor, lecturer, and hackathon juror, he bridges policy, industry and education to operationalize fair and impactful data use. Less obvious: he often pairs ethnographic methods with big-data analytics to surface neighborhood-scale insights that guide product and policy decisions.
