Summary
👤
SeniorNikita Pilnenskiy is a Senior Python Developer with nine years of experience building production ML and data-driven systems across telecom, adtech, and e-commerce domains. He has blended roles from C++ audio-quality tooling to Java infrastructure and now focuses on Python-backed ML and ETL work, having shipped a courier bonus system, an asset management Django app, and feature-extraction pipelines for autoscoring. Comfortable moving between research-oriented ML tasks (Master’s in Machine Learning and Data Analysis from ITMO) and pragmatic engineering, he has a track record of turning data requirements into reliable production services. Based in Cyprus, he recently joined Simple App after a stint at Playtech, signaling a move toward senior Python and ML engineering responsibilities. Notably, his background spans both low-level performance-sensitive code and high-level data platforms, giving him a rare cross-stack perspective.
