Summary
👤
SeniorNikita Simakov is a software engineering consultant and pragmatic tech polymath with 11 years of experience designing and shipping high-load, real-time distributed systems across startups and enterprises. He blends deep JavaScript and Ruby on Rails expertise with architecture, DevOps and security know-how—having led blockchain platform work at Bitspark and built schema governance at Red Bull Media House. As a hands-on leader and mentor, he drives quality through architecture, CI/CD, testing and legacy refactorings while coaching teams on hiring and processes. Outside client work he experiments with Elixir, Clojure, Swift, creative interfaces and physical computing, bringing uncommon cross-disciplinary ideas into products. Based in Berlin, he pairs a security background with a taste for music, VR and IoT startups, which often informs pragmatic, innovative solutions.
