Embedded Engineer at ArcLive
Belgrade, Central Serbia
Summary
👤
SeniorNikita Sivakov is an embedded systems and hardware developer with 11 years of engineering experience and a decade-plus track record leading teams and shipping production-ready systems. He blends hands-on electronics design (schematics, PCB layout, bring-up) with firmware for ESP32, RP2040 and Nordic chips, and specializes in wireless protocols including BLE, Thread, Wi‑Fi and Matter. Previously he led multiple Yandex development teams, modernizing monoliths into scalable services, improving reliability and mentoring engineers during international product expansions. Now running his own practice from Belgrade, he delivers end-to-end smart device designs and coordinates prototyping through factory integration. Known for bridging backend-scale thinking with low-level hardware pragmatism, he’s as comfortable redesigning ad platforms to recover revenue as he is integrating sensors into compact, manufacturable hardware.
