Senior🎓
Top SchoolNiklas Hansen is a Senior Software Engineer based in Copenhagen with 14 years of hands-on experience designing and modernizing full-stack systems across finance, healthcare, and consumer products. He specializes in software architecture, distributed systems, and developer experience, with a track record of rearchitecting backends for maintainability and observability (CosmosDB, OpenTelemetry) and introducing outside-in testing and optimistic UI patterns to speed feedback loops. At Jyske Bank he modernized core property-registration systems and built backend-for-frontends to enable customer self-service, and most recently drove platform improvements at Novo Nordisk before joining the LEGO Group. Comfortable across C#, TypeScript/Vue, Azure, and event-driven microservices, he blends pragmatic engineering with strong system design to reduce operational toil. Colleagues rely on him to turn complex legacy problems into auditable, performant solutions while keeping developer productivity front and center.
