Top SchoolNiklas Kiefer is a Senior Frontend Developer and Team Lead based in Berlin with 10 years of experience building and shipping developer-facing UI for diagram and modeling tools. He combines hands-on front-end craft—CSS, accessibility, i18n and fine-grained label/tooltip rendering—with full-stack improvements to desktop and browser modelers such as Camunda Modeler and the widely used bpmn-js/dmn-js ecosystems. At Camunda he moved beyond bugfixes to refactors and UX improvements that improved editing flows, keyboard shortcuts and component consistency, and now leads frontend work at OEV Online Dienste. He’s comfortable translating complex domain models (BPMN/DMN/forms) into intuitive UIs and has a track record of contributing meaningful, test-covered features to prominent open-source tooling. A former student researcher with a Master in Technical Innovation Management, he blends academic rigor with pragmatic product-focused engineering.
