Senior🎓
Top SchoolNiklas Morberg is an R&D Director with 11+ years of leadership experience and over two decades in software and product development, currently driving Video Management Systems at Axis Communications from Kalmar County, Sweden. He combines deep technical roots—starting as a developer at Axis in the 1990s—with sustained management roles across Axis, Ericsson, ST-Ericsson, Obigo and Teleca, shaping both teams and complex embedded/networked products. Known as a "simplifier," he focuses on turning intricate system requirements into pragmatic, maintainable solutions that scale across organizations. His background in computer science (M.Sc., Lund) and long tenure in telecom and video domains give him a rare blend of systems-level engineering and operational product leadership. Colleagues benefit from his continuity: he repeatedly returns to and advances core technologies at Axis, reflecting both institutional memory and forward-looking engineering judgment. He is pragmatic, steady under change, and skilled at aligning R&D delivery with business needs.
