Top SchoolNiklas Persson is a lecturer and doctoral student at Mälardalen University with nine years of hands-on experience bridging applied control theory, robotics, and embedded software. He progressed from student and research engineer roles into academia while contributing practical industry experience—developing a wheel-loader speed regulation function in MATLAB/Simulink at Volvo CE and improving assembly-line ergonomics at GKN. His background spans licentiate-level research in electrical and electronics engineering and an MSc in Robotics Technology, giving him both theoretical depth and practical system design skills. Based in Västerås, Sweden, he combines teaching and research with a knack for turning control-theory concepts into tested, deployable software for mobile machinery. An understated strength is his long-term familiarity with manufacturing and hands-on mechanical work, which informs realistic, implementable control solutions.
