Top SchoolNiklas Riekenbrauck is a seasoned software engineer based in Berlin with 12 years of hands-on experience building scalable systems across data platforms and cloud-native observability. He has moved from early mobile and health-tech leadership as CTO of mTOMADY to internships and engineering roles at Dubsmash, Datadog, and multiple stints at Snowflake, working with Java, C++, Python, Go and Kubernetes. His background blends systems-level SQL execution and storage work with application-level telemetry and APM intake, giving him a practical end-to-end view of data pipelines and performance. Trained at the Hasso Plattner Institute in IT-systems engineering and data engineering and schooled in Design Thinking, he pairs rigorous technical depth with user-centered problem solving. Notably, he transitioned from startup CTO responsibilities to contributing to large-scale platform teams, evidencing both entrepreneurial initiative and the ability to operate in high-scale production environments.
