Top SchoolNiko Gamulin is an owner and machine learning practitioner with 11 years of experience applying ML, deep learning and systems thinking to real-world products and research. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ljubljana and has combined academic research in computer vision and social network analysis with production engineering roles—from senior software engineering to ML engineering and data science. Based in Ljubljana, he now runs his own consultancy while previously building churn models for telecoms, automating white-collar workflows with intelligent agents, and shipping mobile and cloud services. Comfortable bridging research and product, he turns noisy data into actionable leverage and has a track record of moving models from prototypes to deployed systems. An uncommon thread through his career is hands-on work across embedded, mobile, and large-scale cloud stacks, giving him broad technical fluency beyond typical ML roles.
