Senior🎓
Top SchoolNiko Roberts is a seasoned engineering leader and founder with 14 years of experience building products, platforms and remote teams across startups and big tech. Currently Portugal country lead and Senior Engineering Manager at Airtasker, he’s been instrumental in modernising monolithic web and iOS systems, driving SEO and growth initiatives, and now shifting the org toward agentic, AI-enabled platform services. He combines hands-on engineering—still pairing and mobbing with teams—with organisational design skills, hiring and shaping a remote tech hub that turns a 9–11 hour time difference into a communication advantage. A Tasmanian-raised entrepreneur who founded Eventfuel.io and has consulted for Apple, he brings rare empathy from running companies and wearing many hats, plus deep practical experience delivering zero-downtime upgrades and measurable revenue impacts for marketplaces.
