Senior🎓
Top SchoolNikola Tosic is a Senior Security Engineer based in Melbourne with 15+ years in software, cloud, DevOps and security across startups and large financial institutions. He specialises in shifting security left by embedding DevSecOps practices and building scalable tooling and integrations for security findings on GCP and AWS, often coding in Go, Python and infrastructure-as-code. Nikola has led cloud security teams and been an AWS subject matter expert for regulatory compliance automation, pairing hands-on implementation with API and pipeline design. He brings a pragmatic engineering philosophy that balances right tools, people-focused processes and organisational context—shaped by early-career web-scale and legacy-browser days. Notably, his background spans both product engineering and infrastructure R&D, giving him an uncommon fluency in translating business risk into technical, auditable solutions.
