Nikolai Zujev
Solution Architect Techlead at Deloitte
Berlin, Germany
Summary
🤩
RockstarNikolai Zujev is a Solution Architect and tech lead with 14 years of experience designing and delivering scalable, secure cloud platforms and backend systems across Europe, now based in Berlin. He combines hands-on implementation skills (AWS, Terraform, Python, Go, TypeScript) with leadership of cross-functional teams up to 10 people, shepherding domain-centric design and clear bounded microservices. Known for prioritising the right tool for the problem, Nikolai advocates DDD, pragmatic no-estimates discovery, and strong security and automation practices rather than a narrow “DevOps” label. He has led migrations from on-prem datacenters to AWS, driven API-first product delivery at consumer and enterprise scales, and contributes to open-source in his spare time. Colleagues describe him as adaptable, communicative, and focused on converting unknowns into well-modeled domains.
