Top SchoolNikolas Britton is a seasoned systems engineer with fifteen years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating large-scale Linux and cloud infrastructure for IBM, HPE, Dell EMC, and Mirantis. He specializes in automated deployment, integration, and life-cycle management of OpenStack, Kubernetes, Ceph, and software-defined networking (OpenContrail, Open vSwitch), often operating at the edge of highly distributed networks. His work has included architecting complex, multi-subnet BGP fabrics and integrating bare-metal platforms via Redfish and Intel Pod Manager into production provisioning systems. Although no longer working professionally, he maintains a homelab hobby that keeps his skills sharp and reflects a deep, continuing curiosity for systems-level engineering. Based in Austin, Texas, he is not available for consulting or employment but brings a rare mix of operational depth and integration-focused tooling experience.
