Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolNikos Angelopoulos is a Senior Software Engineer with six years of experience specializing in SRE and platform engineering, currently improving internal developer workflows at Grafana Labs. He brings hands-on expertise in Linux, Go, Java, containers and orchestration, and has driven large-scale observability adoption—most notably introducing OpenTelemetry across 100+ Java microservices at Glovo. Comfortable across the stack, he has built reliability tooling, led multi-team reliability initiatives, and transitioned from on-call SRE duties to platform-level improvements. Based in Barcelona, he pairs strong system-design instincts with a collaborator’s mindset and a track record of turning observability and infrastructure gaps into measurable improvements. An unusual strength is his blend of low-level systems work (C++ Windows services, containerization) with cloud-native orchestration and developer productivity tooling.
