Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolNiky M is a full-stack software engineer with 9 years of experience building scalable, production-grade web applications using Ruby on Rails, React, Redux and SQL. At GitHub they led large-scale test migrations, boosted API test coverage and closed security gaps to enable a new access token, while also improving observability and accessibility across high-traffic flows. Prior roles at Zillow and Flatiron School show a pattern of modernization—migrating mapping providers to cut costs, upgrading legacy Rails to GraphQL/React, and introducing Datadog/Terraform tooling. Comfortable advising on API design and authorization patterns, Niky blends hands-on coding with cross-team documentation and tooling that’s been adopted by dozens of teams. With an academic background spanning engineering and music, they bring a multidisciplinary perspective that surfaces in thoughtful UX and maintainable system design.
