Senior🎓
Top SchoolNils Bundi is a crypto and DeFi veteran with 10 years of experience building production-grade financial infrastructure and protocols since 2017. As Co-Founder & CEO of Vesu and Founder of Ultrasound Labs, he focuses on permissionless lending, Starknet L2 design, and low-fee, highly transparent risk systems that prioritize neutral, protocol-native market mechanisms. He blends hands-on protocol architecture and product leadership with academic rigor—holding a PhD in Financial Engineering and teaching Quantitative Finance at ZHAW—so his designs emphasize formal contract models and auditability. Nils also helps shape industry standards through roles at CMTA and the ITSA working group (ITIN), advancing cross-chain token identification and tokenization practices. He co-founded the DeFi Collective to promote transparency via open-source tools like defiscan.info, reflecting a rare mix of research, standards work, and operational startup execution. Colleagues describe him as a builder who moves fluid protocol ideas into production while cultivating focused, multidisciplinary teams.
