Summary
👤
SeniorNils Mittet is a senior consultant and software architect with 17 years of experience building back-end systems, currently delivering JVM-based microservices and cloud-native solutions from Stavanger. Over the last decade at Miles AS he has focused on data-intensive and event-driven architectures, blending hands-on coding with technical leadership. His primary strengths are Java and Kotlin, but he also explores Python, Rust and Go for specialized tasks, and keeps current with modern web stacks through TypeScript and React/Next.js. Earlier roles at Amedia and DB Medialab gave him deep experience in search, authentication, caching and high-performance backend design for large Norwegian media platforms. He brings a pragmatic eye for maintainable architecture and integration patterns, often favoring robust, observable systems over clever one-offs. Known for balancing technical rigor with a consultant’s adaptability, he thrives on solving complex data and integration challenges for production environments.
