Senior🎓
Top SchoolNils Toedtmann is a Chief IoT Architect and co-founder with 15+ years designing resilient infrastructure, embedded systems, and secure IoT data acquisition pipelines from device to cloud. He combines deep Linux/Unix operations, network and protocol design, and automation (Python, SaltStack, Fabric, Docker, AWS) to build and operate production systems for startups and global services. Nils has a strong cryptography and security background applied to VPNs, BMS/HVAC integrations, and protocol architecture, reflecting his long experience as a researcher and protocol architect at OpenCoin. He routinely turns ambiguous, messy requirements into precise system models and practical implementations, and enjoys teaching those skills through courses and workshops. Based in London, he blends academic training in mathematics and physics with hands-on ISP and DevOps experience dating back to early 2000s. Not obvious from titles: he also has a track record of operating diverse open-source stacks and advising community-driven projects on scalable, secure operations.
